Ohio Absentee Voting Begins Oct 4

Absentee voting begins statewide in Ohio today – both mailing of absentee ballots and in-person absentee voting at the board of elections.

 

Other Important 2016 Election Dates

 

October 11 – Deadline to update voter registration.  This includes voters who are registering for the first time, and those who have changed their address or name. All county boards of elections in Ohio will open until 9:00 PM.

 

November 5 @ noon – Deadline to receive mail absentee ballot request.

 

November 7 – Final day of in-person absentee voting at board of elections. Absentee ballots returned by U.S. mail must be post-marked not later than this date.

 

November 8 – Election Day
