Consider helping older adults in your community by representing your county on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council. We currently seek representatives for Clark, Miami, Montgomery and Preble counties. The Advisory Council advises the Board of Trustees regarding administration of federal and state funds for services to people age 60 and older, and other issues impacting older adults and their caregivers.
The Advisory Council is composed of three representatives from each of the nine counties in our service area. New members will begin April 1, 2021, and may renew twice upon completing their first full term. All four openings are new terms that end March 31, 2024. The Advisory Council meets monthly in Tipp City and mileage is reimbursed (meetings are currently held on Zoom until further notice).
We appreciate the dedication of Charles Morris of Clark County, Randy Earl of Miami County, Charles Holderman of Montgomery County, and Doris Pollet of Preble County for serving on the council and advocating for the needs of seniors and caregivers in their counties and throughout our region.
