Advisory Council Seeks Representatives for Multiple Counties

The Area Agency on Aging has upcoming openings on its Advisory Council to represent Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami and Preble counties. All are three-year terms ending March 31, 2026 and renewable twice, except for Darke County which is a two-year replacement term ending March 31, 2025, and then renewable for three full (3-year) terms. The Advisory Council is composed of three representatives from each of the nine counties in our service area who work to help older adults in their communities.

The Advisory Council advises the Board of Trustees regarding administration of federal and state funds for services to people age 60 and older, and other issues impacting older adults and their caregivers. The Advisory Council meets monthly in Tipp City and mileage is reimbursed (meetings are currently held on Zoom until further notice).
