Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restricting their activities. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. Attend free at Miamisburg Recreation Center Senior Services, 305 East Central Ave., Miamisburg, 10am to Noon Mondays, Nov. 6 to Dec. 18.

Participants will learn to:

view falls as controllable,
set goals for increasing activity,
make changes to reduce fall risks at home,
exercise to increase strength and balance.
Who should attend? Anyone who is:

concerned about falls,
interested in improving balance, flexibity and strength,
who has fallen in the past,
who has restricted activities because of falling concerns.
