2025 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program: Applications Open

The 2025 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) helps provide low-income older adults access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey and herbs by providing eligible participants $50 coupons for use at participating farmers markets and roadside stands. Applications must be submitted by September 30, and coupons may be spent between May 15 and November 30. Click here to view a regularly updated list of authorized Farmers Market locations.

In partnership with the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA), the Agency works with Homefull to offer the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program to eligible applicants who are 60 and older and residents of:

• Champaign County
• Clark County
• Darke County
• Greene County
• Logan County
• Miami County
• Montgomery County
• Preble County
• Shelby County

Eligible applicants must earn less than 185% of the federal poverty level. Ohioans must reapply each year to continue receiving benefits. See instructions below to sign up today!

For older adults interested in applying, click here for the online SFMNP application form. The online application form is the quickest and most efficient way to apply for the SFMNP program. An email address is required to fill out the electronic application. Ohioans who sign up for the program with an email address will receive a confirmation email of their approval and can begin using their $50 starting on May 15.   

Physical membership cards remain available.

• Ohioans who received physical cards last year, and who remain eligible this year, will be able to reuse those cards in 2025.
  • $50 will be loaded onto the cards on May 15.
• Physical cards will also be delivered to eligible Ohioans who misplaced their 2024 cards, did not obtain a physical card in 2024, or who are signing up for the first time in 2025.
  • Physical cards may take 4-6 weeks for delivery.
