In observance of Elder Abuse Awareness Day, join the Ohio Attorney General’s Elder Abuse commission in a daylong conference.

WEAAD was initiated in 2006 by the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse and the World Health Organization at the United Nations. The United Nations International Plan of Action also acknowledges the significance of elder abuse as a public health and human rights issue. WEAAD serves as a call-to-action to raise awareness of cultural, social, economic and demographic processes that affect elder abuse and neglect.
