Statewide Social Determinants of Health Data Now Available

The Ohio Department of Health fields a Health Opportunity Team that recently launched a Community Well-being: Social Determinants of Health dashboard that provides a statewide overview regarding Geographic Profiles, Economic Vitality, Neighborhood and Physical Environment, Healthcare and Education Access and Quality, as well as Social and Community Experience. The detailed maps and data are assembled to help state and local governments, health and educational organizations, and non-profits to recognize that health inequities exist and apply this information toward program and policy decisions to better serve Ohioans.
