Additional emotional and physical stress that holidays often load onto current or former family caregivers is addressed at an upcoming free, online workshop: Dealing with Stress & Grief: Caregiving through the Holidays, 10:00-11:00am on Monday, Dec. 5. Advance registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Please call 937-341-3020 or email khaus@info4seniors.org. The earlier the better, but registrations can be accepted up to one hour before the workshop.
This interactive discussion is led by Bonnie Orlins, LISW-S ACHP-SW, a Bereavement Counseling Professional in Pathways of Hope at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. All attendees are eligible to receive a free copy of the resource book, Powerful Tools for Caregivers, mailed to their homes after the workshop. More information about this workshop is available on our website: Caregiver Workshops – Area Agency on Aging (info4seniors.org)
