A service provider is an established and qualified business contracted with Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2, to provide needed services to eligible older adults in our service area. Our services cover Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties. Businesses contract with the Agency to deliver services through one or more programs. Each program varies in terms of services provided, rules for service delivery, and application process for new providers. Area Agency on Aging contracts with over 250 providers, including Assisted Living, Adult Day facilities, home-delivered meals, personal care, social work counseling, transportation, and more.
Providers can submit and adjust fee-for-service claims, prior authorization requests, hospice applications, verify recipient eligibility, and submit cost reports.
Older Americans Act (OAA) providers submit bids on contracts to manage services within our nine-county region.
The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) sets conditions of participation and service requirements for provider certification.
