Five Rivers MetroParks and the Area Agency on Aging collaborate on hosting a free Caregiver Nature Walk for respite and support to family caregivers 11am-Noon on Tuesday, November 12, at Cox Arboretum MetroPark, 6733 Springboro Pike, Dayton. Meet Five Rivers MetroPark and Area Agency on Aging staff members for a walk in the park followed by a short social time to meet with other caregivers and gather information on programs and services. Refreshments provided by American Benefit Services.
Meet inside the Visitor Center’s 5/3 Room and the walk will follow the paved-loop path. This 1/2-mile accessible path passes arboretum highlights. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. Sunscreen and/or hat are recommended.
This walk is open to all caregivers and their loved ones. Registration is requested but drop-ins are welcome. To register or for more information, please complete the form below or call Mary Hairston, Caregiver Services Coordinator, at 937-341-6944.
