Caregiver Workshop April 9 About OT for People Living with Dementia

The Area Agency on Aging offers a free online workshop 11am-Noon Wednesday, April 9, to learn how Occupational Therapy (OT) can play a critical role in supporting your caregiving journey. This program highlights evidence-based OT interventions designed to:

  • enhance caregiver skills,
  • reduce stress, and
  • Improve the overall quality of life for you and your loved one.

Presenter is Justin Dove, an Occupational Therapy Doctoral Student at Kettering College.

Registration is requested by April 7 to Mary Hairston at 937-341-6944 or mhairston@info4seniors.org in order to receive the workshop link. Please provide your name, email, and phone number. Also leave your mailing address if interested in receiving a free copy of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers workbook mailed to registrants after the workshop. This resource book is available to caregivers living in the Agency’s 9-county service region. (Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Shelby.
