Diabetes 101: Learning to Manage Diabetes for Yourself & Loved Ones

The Area Agency on Aging collaborates with Diabetes of Dayton for this program offered 1-2pm Monday, Aug. 18, at Preble County Council on Aging in Eaton. This program targets older adults and their caregivers, and is free and open to the public.

Presenter will be Registered Dietitian Liz Knostman from Diabetes Dayton.

As Type II Diabetes grows increasingly more common for older individuals, proper regulation of food and medications can help toward adequate management of proper blood glucose and decrease the risk of developing other chronic diseases. In this educational workshop, learn about proper management practices and how to ensure your success in regulating this disease for both yourself and your loved ones.
