Adults with Aging Parent Drivers

Transportation is a major concern for older adults, especially within communities that don’t have multiple options of public or other convenient transportation to help maintain independence. The Troy Senior Center hosts this free hybrid workshop offered in-person that will also be viewable online, for family members concerned about their parents’ ability to safely drive.

Presenter is Mark Healy, a Physical Therapist with 40 years of experience, and a certified Beyond Driving with Dignity Self-Assessment Instructor providing education on driver safety and planning for change.

Attendees are eligible to receive a free Powerful Tools for Caregivers book either on-site at the workshop or mailed if attending from online.
