Nominate an Outstanding Senior Citizen for Your County

Nominate a deserving older adult in your county for a 2026 Outstanding Senior Citizen Award! Awards are presented in each county of our region – Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby. Most counties recognize and celebrate their awardee during their Senior Day celebrations held in May for Older Americans Month.

The nomination process is a bit different this year. For more information on submitting a nomination, please contact the organization managing your county’s award (click on the named links below):

Clark County – USS/United Senior Services

Champaign County – Urbana-Champaign County Senior Center

Darke County – Darke County Seniors

Greene County – Greene County Council on Aging

Logan County – Waiting to be determined.

Miami County – Waiting to be determined.

Montgomery County – Montgomery County Council on Aging. Submit nominations to email montg.ccoa@gmail.com by April 10.

Preble County – Preble County Council on Aging

Shelby County – Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County Submit nominations by March 31.
