The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) advises people owning older cell phones, tablets, emergency response systems, and some home alarm systems with mobile connections to check with their service provider on whether these items and systems use a 3G network. Mobile providers are phasing out their 3G network systems throughout 2022 in favor of changing to more advanced network services. Different service providers are ending their 3G services on different dates, and any 3G-reliant devices will be impacted. Find more detailed information on the FCC website.
