The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) shares information to help ensure Ohioan prepare and stay safe in extreme weather. For older adults impacted by the recent storms and tornadoes, the ODA works with its network of Area Agencies on Aging to help address any interruption of services toward identifying short-term solutions. According to an ODA press release, its Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman also monitors storm impacts to long-term care facilities and remains on standby to assist residents as necessary.
