Five Rivers MetroParks and the Area Agency on Aging collaborate on hosting a free Caregiver Nature Walk for respite and support to family caregivers 11am-Noon on Saturday, June 8, at Englewood MetroPark, 4361 W. National Rd., Vandalia, Ohio. Meet Five Rivers MetroPark and Area Agency on Aging staff members for a walk in the park followed by a short social time to meet with other caregivers and gather information on programs and services.

This walk is open to all caregivers and their loved ones. Registration is requested but drop-ins are welcome. To register or for more information, please complete the form below or call Mary Hairston, Caregiver Services Coordinator, at 937-341-6944.

Meet in the Patty Shelter before walking the one-mile section red trail. We will look for various birds that make their home at the park, and early-summer-blooming wildflowers. Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. Sunscreen and hat are recommended. All participants are eligible to receive a free copy of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers resource book.
