Five Rivers MetroParks and the Area Agency on Aging collaborate on hosting a free Caregiver Nature Walk for respite and support to family caregivers 11am-Noon on Wednesday, July 10, at Cox Arboretum MetroPark, 6733 Springboro Pike, Dayton. Meet Five Rivers MetroPark and Area Agency on Aging staff members for a walk in the park followed by a short social time to meet with other caregivers and gather information on programs and services. Refreshments provided by American Benefit Services.
Meet at the Water Garden Terrace and the walk will follow the paved-loop path. This 1/2-mile accessible path passes arboretum highlights. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. Sunscreen and hat are recommended.
This walk is open to all caregivers and their loved ones. Registration is requested but drop-ins are welcome. To register or for more information, please complete the form below or call Mary Hairston, Caregiver Services Coordinator, at 937-341-6944.
