Healthy Living with Diabetes – Sidney

The Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County hosts Healthy Living with Diabetes meeting Noon-2:30pm Wednesdays from September 23 through October 28 (free lunch served at the first and final sessions at 11:30am). This workshop is free and open to Senior Center members and the general public. All workshop materials will be provided at the first session.

Healthy Living with Diabetes is an informative and interactive program for people diagnosed with or nearing Type 2 Diabetes and/or their caregivers. Meeting weekly gives time to build new skills, practice what you learn, and share experiences with others – all with time and encouragement to make changes you want to make.

Attendance at all 6 sessions is not mandatory, but people gain the most benefit by attending at least four sessions. If unable to attend the first session on Sept. 23, please let the Senior Center know that you’ll start on Sept. 29 instead.
