Healthy Living with Diabetes – Springfield

The Clark County Combined Health District hosts Healthy Living with Diabetes meeting 10-11am Thursdays, September 10 through October 15, at Community Gardens Apartments, Springfield. This workshop is for residents of Community Gardens Apartments only at this time. Please contact knevius@info4seniors.org or 937-341-3001 to be placed on a waitlist for future workshops.

Healthy Living with Diabetes is an informative and interactive program for people diagnosed with or nearing Type 2 Diabetes and/or their caregivers. Meeting weekly gives time to build new skills, practice what you learn, and share experiences with others – all with time and encouragement to make changes you want to make.

Attendance at all 6 sessions is not mandatory, but people gain the most benefit by attending at least four sessions.

This program is supported by the Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2, with funds through the Older Americans Act.
