Long-Term Care Workforce Shortage Report Now Available

The Agency released its Long-Term Care Workforce Shortage report on Oct. 7 resulting from a three-year Del Mar Encore Fellowship through The Dayton Foundation. This Fellowship features the skills and focus of Dr. Kathryn Stevens, Ph.D., who conducted her research between August 2019 and August 2022. Her work included surveys and interviews from home care provider agencies, caregivers, consumers, and Agency staff to independently define, measure and develop sustainable strategies to address long-term care workforce shortages in this region.
