OSHIIP stands for the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, an unbiased source of information to help people learn about Medicare and consists of staff and trained volunteers to conduct workshops and one-on-one consultations. In preparation for the Oct. 15-Dec. 7 Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period, OSHIIP offers both virtual and in-person opportunities to learn about Medicare changes for 2025, how to review your current plan, ways to save money, and how to compare plans for 2025.
Click here for the Ohio Dept. of Insurance website that contains links to register for upcoming virtual workshops, plus a list of in-person talks and meetings taking place throughout Ohio. Please note that not every county hosts events, plus events listed on the site are subject to change. The Ohio Dept. of Insurance suggests that people check with OSHIIP at 800-686-1578 or contact your selected site closer to the event date to make sure there are no changes.
If unable to attend an in-person event or if none are held in your area, there are several other ways you can reach out to OSHIIP for help (click on the dark blue/green lines to access the links):
