Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 Receives NCQA Accreditation

Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 case management programs have received accreditation status for three years through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The Agency earned accreditation for the following long-term services and supports (LTSS) programs: Assisted Living Waiver, ComCare and PASSPORT Waiver. 

Earning NCQA’s Accreditation of Case Management for LTSS acknowledges that an organization is dedicated to helping individuals live safely and independently in their homes by coordinating care delivery in a person-centered and integrated manner.

“Earning NCQA accreditation is a testament to the daily hard work and commitment our team members have to serving the older adults in our community. We have been, and always will be, committed to providing the highest level of case management to our consumers, and this accreditation is an important acknowledgment of that,” said Doug McGarry, Executive Director of the Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2. 

The Agency on Aging helps older adults of west central Ohio remain in their homes with independence and dignity.  We are an independent, private, nonprofit corporation that plans and funds services for older persons in Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby Counties.
