Wellness Programs

The Area Agency on Aging offers a number of free wellness programs presented at community locations throughout our nine-county region. Weekly sessions empower participants to develop healthy habits and explore other topics that support their definition of successful aging. Click on the program names below for more information.

Healthy U offers three workshops: chronic disease, diabetes, and chronic pain. All provide proven tools to help participants better self-manage their chronic condition(s).

Eat Smart Live Strong encourages older adults to increase fruit and vegetable consumption and physical activity to delay and prevent the effects of diet-related disease.

Aging Mastery Program includes 10 sessions presented by experts that focus on managing health, remaining economically secure, and contributing actively to society.

Open workshops are posted below. Contact Ann Finnicum for additional information or if you are interested in training to be a leader or partnering with the agency as a host site.
