Agency Presents Results of Community Survey on Needs and Services for Older Adults
In late spring the Area Agency on Aging collected responses to a community survey seeking information and opinions to assist in planning for the future needs of the aging population throughout the nine counties served. Reports generated from the survey were presented to the agency’s Advisory Council earlier today and are available by clicking on the link below.
Every four years, Ohio Area Agencies on Aging are required to submit a new Area Plan for Programs on Aging to the Ohio Department of Aging. Information gathered through the survey was analyzed and will be considered as the agency develops their Area Plan covering the period 2019-2022.
The Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 helps older and disabled adults of west central Ohio remain in their homes with independence and dignity. The agency is an independent, private, nonprofit corporation that plans and funds services for older persons in Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby Counties.
