Agency Reviews Past Year and Looks to the Future

Last week current and former Board of Trustees and Advisory Council members joined staff at the Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 annual meeting.  Executive Director Doug McGarry reviewed the state of the agency and presented the 2017 annual report.

The following Trustees were re-elected to serve a one-year term as officers on the Board of Trustees.

• Doug Lineberger, Chairperson
• Judy LaMusga, Esq., Vice Chairperson
• Vickie Carraher, RN, Treasurer

Three Trustees were re-elected to serve a three-year term.

• Vickie Carraher, RN, At Large
• Deb Sanders, Shelby County
• Roland Winburn, At Large

Two new Trustees were elected to serve a three-year term.

• Steven Swedlund, MD, Greene County
• Cheryl Wheeler, At Large

The meeting concluded with a presentation entitled “Ohio’s Age Wave:  Demographics & Implications” by Emily Campbell, Associate Director & Senior Fellow/Williamson Family Fellow for Applied Research, The Center for Community Solutions.
