Caregiving Around the Clock

National Family Caregivers Month – celebrated each November — is a time to acknowledge, recognize, and thank those who provide essential care to their loved one. During the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, remember to include family caregivers among those things for which you are thankful.

The 2017 National Family Caregivers Month theme is “Caregiving Around the Clock” because caregiving can be a 24-hours a day/7-days a week job.

Take some time this month to raise awareness of family caregiver issues, celebrate the efforts of family caregivers, educate family caregivers about self-identification and self-care, and increase support for family caregivers.
