Do you or someone you know depend on services provided by programs that support seniors and caregivers in our communities?
By Thanksgiving, Congress will decide on funding for aging programs. Several are facing cuts, including the State Health Insurance Programs, Senior Community Service Employment Program, and Falls Prevention and Chronic Disease Self-Management Education. There are also opportunities to increase funding for Older Americans Act programs.
Visit the National Council on Aging website for more information and to tell your lawmakers to vote NO to cuts—and YES to new investments!
Let’s protect aging funding!
