Seeking Nominations for 2021 Outstanding Senior Citizen Awards

The Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 is accepting nominations for Outstanding Senior Citizen Awards. The 2021 Older Americans Month theme of “Communities of Strength” fits right in with nominating an outstanding older adults who go above and beyond to serve and help your communities. These awards are selected by each county and announced in May for Older Americans Month on the Agency’s website and summer newsletter. Award information will also be provided to local newspapers. One award each is presented in Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties.

Consider taking the time today to nominate an outstanding person age 60 and older who has impacted your community. The deadline for all nominations is March 26, 2021.
