Statewide Events to Inform Ohioans for Medicare’s Open Enrollment

Medicare Open Enrollment to select coverage for 2024 is open now to December 7. The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) as the state’s official Medicare educational and counseling program has scheduled events throughout the state both in-person and online to help Ohioans learn Medicare fundamentals and changes, how to compare plans, prescription drug coverage options, and ways to save money. The opportunity to schedule a Medicare counseling appointment with and advisor to compare plans is included in most events.

The OSHIIP site encourages careful evaluation of Medicare options because plans may have different benefits, out-of-pocket costs, covered prescription drugs, in-network physicians, and premiums each year.
