For family caregivers: Care of the Caregiver is a free, four-session in-person series held 1-2pm on the first four Thursdays in August at the Troy-Miami County Public Library – Aug. 3 Just Breathe, Aug. 10 Sounds of Stress Relief, Aug. 17 The Healing Power of Touch, and Aug. 24 Putting It All Together. For anyone age 60 and older and/or their caregivers: Healthy Living are free, six-week workshops for people looking to improve their own health, preventing or managing Type 2 Diabetes, and/or managing chronic pain. There are both in-person and virtual (phone discussion group) options. Information and materials are developed by the Self-Management Resource Center.
